As an experienced bariatric surgeon, Dr. Hall has the expertise to perform general surgical procedures on overweight patients, as well as patients who have surgical needs after weight loss surgery.
Dr. Hall was drawn to medicine because he witnessed family members with chronic illnesses suffer unnecessarily. “I see my patients as an extension of my family and I want only the best for members of my family,” he said. If you can put yourself in the patient’s shoes, you’re more sensitive to what they’re going through.”
Dr. Hall takes the time to help patients understand their health condition and the treatment options available so they can come to agreement on the best approach for their problem.
Dr. Hall earned his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, D.C., in 2005. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at SUNY Stony Brook Medical Center. Committed to being on the leading edge of surgical advances, Dr. Hall has completed numerous specialized certifications. He was a research fellow at the NYU Winthrop Hospital, where he completed additional training in minimally invasive, bariatric and robotic surgery.
He is board certified by the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
