A team of four SOS joint replacement surgeons are working together with Rome Health’s orthopedic team at Rome Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, located in Chestnut Commons, 107 E. Chestnut St., Suite 106.
Appointments may be made by calling Rome Health at 315.338.9200.
SOS orthopedic surgeons, Stephen P. Bogosian, M.D., Max R. Greenky, M.D., Kevin A. Kopko, M.D., and Anthony M. Orio, M.D., will perform hip and knee total joint replacement procedures at Rome Health for the convenience of patients.
At Rome Health, we partner with the best out there because we believe great healthcare should be within reach of each and every member of our community.
Joint pain can limit patients’ range of motion and quality of life. The team of joint replacement surgeons is dedicated to empowering patients to reclaim their body’s natural movement and enjoy a life without pain. Surgical and non-surgical treatments will be available in Rome, including therapeutic injections.
The SOS team focuses on evidence-based protocols and pathways to better manage pain, minimize the risk of complications and provide the best outcomes for patients. For over 10 years, SOS has monitored hip, knee and spine surgery patients through their patient registry. Joint replacement patients complete validated outcome measures that assess their pain and physical function, and SOS meets or exceeds benchmarks on all of these scoring instruments.
Because physical therapy contributes to the best patient outcomes, surgical patients will meet with Rome Health’s therapy team prior to surgery to create their rehabilitation plan and schedule their first post-operative appointment.
